I woke up at 8:40 in the morning. The sun was bright, the wind was calm, and the weather was just right. We didn’t go to school today because of a memorandum announcing that classes would be asynchronous. The notice came from our Student Body Organization (SBO) president yesterday.
After a nice nap, I did my morning routine and ate breakfast. Once I finished eating, I started doing the household chores. I washed the dishes from breakfast first. Since I’m usually the only one at home, my time is flexible and I can do whatever I want. But first, I needed to clean the house.
I finished cleaning around 10:30 a.m., and it was finally my “me time.” I sat by the window and watched the series From. It’s a good show, and I’m currently on episode four. After one episode, I cooked lunch: sardines with egg. It turned out delicious. I always end up eating a lot of rice whenever I’m the one deciding what to cook. After eating, I washed the dishes and the cooking tools I used, then went back to my room to watch again.
Hours passed, and before I knew it, it was 4:30 in the afternoon, time to cook rice for dinner. Once the rice was ready, I watched another episode while waiting. My brother, his wife, and their son came home, and we all had dinner together. After eating, I brushed my teeth and went back to my room to watch again.
And that’s how my day went, just another calm, simple “filler episode” in my life.
